Directions to Hofern/Kiens |

By car via the Brenner highway (A22):
On the Brenner highway (A22) travel towards South Tyrol, take exit Brixen/Pustertal (please note: Italy's highways are toll-roads). Follow state road (SS49-E-66) for approximately 19 km until you reach Kiens. At the center of Kiens take a left and follow this road for 1.8 km until you reach a crossing. Here, you take a left into the direction of Hofern/Corti. Follow this road for another 2.8 km, passing through Hofern/Corti. Here, you take a right ( look for signs to Aschbach and/or Moarhof Alm). Follow the sloped road uphill for app. 3 km. You will see the Unterweger farm on your right.
By train/bus:
The IC or EC train takes you to Franzensfeste - where you can catch all trains from the north and from the south. The local train lines will take you to Kiens/Ehrenburg (Chienes/Casteldarne) and Bruneck (Brunico) in the Puster Valley (Pustertal/Val Pusteria). You can also take the public bus from Bruneck to Hofern. Please note that the bus stop for public busses is located approximately 3 km away from the Unterweger farm.
By plane:
Scheduled flights are available to and from Bozen (77 km), Innsbruck (101 km), Verona (219 km) and Treviso (208 km). Your travel agency will provide you with further information. |
